Project Name: Park county Detention Facility (Fairplay,CO)
Problem : An aging system with constant hardware failures. Increased Investigation times due to poor video quality. Safety concerns, reduced facility visibility.
Solution : County wide distributed Video Management System. Installation of expandable system that will evolve and change as technology changes. Maintaining a 60 day active database, with an additional 60 day archive.
Technologies Used :
- Parallel Vlan – network wide. Installation / Configuration of Layer 2 switches.
- Installation of 90+ IP video cameras.
- Installation of multiple video recorders with network wide redundancy and archival.
- Remote Monitoring – a pre-emptive monitoring solution that Protek actively monitors for network performance and problem issues.
